To receive an international money transfer, recipients in Venezuela need to register with our partner, Casa de Cambio Angulo Lopez.

How does the registration process work?

Once you've confirmed a money transfer, your recipient will receive an SMS from Casa de Cambio Angulo Lopez inviting them to register. They can register online through their Customer Portal or at one of their branches.

To complete the registration process, recipients need to provide:

• Their personal information
• Their ID or passport 
• A selfie with their ID card below their chin 
• A copy of their RIF (their fiscal / tax number)

Additional requirements for transfers to bank accounts:

If you're sending money to the recipient's bank account, your recipient will also need to provide their bank account details when they register.
