We do everything we can to keep you and your money safe. Sometimes that means we need to lock accounts or cancel transfers that do not meet the security requirements put in place to ensure we comply with industry regulations.
If your account has been locked or you’ve had a transfer canceled because these requirements were not met, you are welcome to make an appeal against this decision. However, please note that submitting an appeal does not guarantee that your account will be reopened.
Before you submit an appeal, please review our help articles which explain why transfers are canceled and accounts are locked in further detail. If you still wish to continue with your appeal, follow the instructions below.
How to make your appeal
It’s quick and easy to submit an appeal to Ria Money Transfer. We’ll just need to collect a few details from you.
Enter all the required information into our message form, making sure the ‘I want to make an appeal’ option is selected in the ‘What are you contacting us about?’ dropdown box.
You will be asked questions such as:
- What is the relationship between you and the recipient?
- What is the reason for sending your transfer?
- How often are you planning on sending money with us?
What happens next?
After you submit your appeal, we will carefully review all the information provided and make a final decision. This process usually takes up to 48 hours, although it's often completed sooner. This timeframe may vary during peak activity periods.
Please bear with us while the review is completed. Our team will not be able to provide any updates or speed up this process while it's underway. We’ll be in touch as soon as soon the decision has been made.
We appreciate your patience during the appeal process.
