This article shows you how to add a new payment method, edit the address on an existing payment method and delete a payment method.
Adding a payment method
You can add up to three payment methods per payment type to your account (i.e. three credit or debit cards and three bank accounts), up to a total of 6 payment methods. Once you've added 6 payment methods, you'll need to delete one before you can add a new one.
Things to know:
- Customer Care can't add payment information for you
- You can't save Direct Bank Payment details to your account via this route. In countries where this payment method is available, you'll need to input these details during when you send money.
On the app
- Tap the Profile and settings icon
- Tap Payment methods
- Tap Add new payment method
- Choose the payment method you want to add:

Follow and complete the prompts
On the new Ria website
- Click Account on the left side of your screen
- Click Payment methods
- Click Add payment method
- Choose the payment method you want to add
- Enter your payment method information and click Add
Then, simply follow and complete the prompts.
On the old Ria website
- Click the menu icon in the top right-hand corner
- Click Payment methods
- Click Add
- Choose the payment method you want to add
- Follow the steps on screen to add your payment method
Editing a payment method
You can edit your billing address by following the steps below. To edit the cardholder's name, the card number or the expiry date, please delete the payment method and add it again.
On the app
- Tap the Profile and settings icon
- Tap Payment methods
- Select the payment method you want to edit
- Edit your billing address
- Tap Save
On the new website
- Click Account on the left side of your screen
- Click the More information icon (three grey dots) of the payment method you’d like to delete
- Click Details
- Click the pencil icon to edit your billing address
- Click Save
On the old website
- Click the menu icon in the top right-hand corner
- Click Payment methods
- Choose the payment method you want to edit and click View/Edit
- Follow and complete the prompts
Deleting a payment method
On the app
- Tap the Profile and settings icon in the top right-hand corner
- Tap Payment methods
- Select the payment method you want to remove
- Tap Delete
- Confirm that you would like to delete the payment method
On the new website
- Click Account on the left side of your screen
- Click the More information icon (three grey dots) of the payment method you’d like to delete
- Click Delete
- Click Yes, delete to remove the payment method
On the old website
- Click the menu icon in the top right-hand corner
- Click Payment methods
- Choose the payment method you want to delete and click Delete
- Click Delete again (we ask this twice because this action can’t be undone)
