Follow the steps in this article to create your Ria account through our app or a digital partner's app. You can also create an account online.
Creating an account in the app:
1. Create your digital account
- Open the app and tap Create a free account
- Choose your language and the country you'd like to send money to
- Enter your email address
- Choose your password
- Choose whether you'd like to receive marketing emails and news from Ria
- Enter your phone number
- Verify your phone number by entering the one-time passcode (OTP) we send you
- Once verified, you can enable biometrics so that you can log in with Face ID or Touch ID
2. Create your profile
You can create your profile when you click on your profile icon and then choose Settings. If you start a transfer before you've created your profile you'll be prompted to create it before you verify your identity.
To create your profile:
- Open your profile and choose Settings or start a transfer. We'll prompt you to create your profile when you initiate your first transfer (if you haven't created it already).
- Provide your name
- Enter your date of birth
- Choose your occupation
- Enter your address
Create an account in the app in Australia, Malaysia or Singapore:
- Download the Ria app and click Register
- Confirm which country you're in
- Enter your phone number
- Verify your phone by entering the 6-digit code we send you
- Create your password
- Agree to our Terms and Conditions
- Enter your full name, email address and date of birth
- Depending on where you live, we might also ask you to provide your Country of birth, Nationality, Occupation, and ID information
- Tap Continue
- Subscribe to promotions, discounts and special offers or tap Not now to opt
- Enter your address and tap Continue
