To keep our services available to you, fees are included in your transfer cost. Fees are dependent on a variety of factors, including:

Are there payment method fees?
Among other factors, fees are dependent on your payment method. Each method is priced accordingly to their unique benefits — like transfer speeds and convenience.
Do fees change depending on where I send?
Yes! We work with financial institutions in 165+ countries to provide you with low fees — but pricing can vary.
The rate in your website/app doesn't match the rate I found on Google. Why?
Google displays the market exchange rate, which doesn’t necessarily reflect our pricing. Our cost of buying currency impacts the rates we can offer daily.

Can you match a competitor's rate?
We are confident that our rates will always be competitive with other money transfer providers. However, we don’t match our competitors’ rates.
Does pricing change, or is it fixed?
Pricing is determined by the exchange rate and our service fee. Both exchange rates and fees can change anytime without notice.
However, we try to keep pricing simple. In the calculator, we provide associated fees, how much your recipient will receive and the total cost of the transfer.
Is pricing the same in store and online?
Pricing can vary between our in-store locations and online.

I was charged a higher fee this time. Why?
Fees are complex. We frequently review costs to ensure we are competitive. However, sometimes we need to increase fees due to factors beyond our control. Keep in mind, a higher fee doesn’t necessarily equal a higher rate.
Is there a way I can avoid paying a fee?
Sign up for our marketing emails to receive promotions, discounts and special offers. We may occasionally send you zero-fee promo codes to use on transfers.
What is today’s exchange rate?
Exchange rates change on an hourly basis — sometimes by the minute! Our Check Prices feature tells you current exchange rates for currency in 165+ countries.
Does Ria charge a 'cash advance' fee?
We do not charge cash advance fees, but your financial institution may if you pay with a credit card. To avoid being charged a cash advance fee, we recommend reaching out to them before sending with your credit card.
