We update your transfer status to “paid” once we’ve sent the money to your recipient.
Here’s what that means, depending on the delivery method:
- Bank account: After we’ve sent the transfer, it can take up to 2 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays) for the receiving bank to deposit the money into their account.
- Mobile Wallet: The money usually arrives instantly after we’ve paid it, but in some cases it may take up to 24 hours.
- Cash pickup: A “paid” status means your recipient has already collected the money.
How to help your recipient find your transfer
Check the recipient details
- Make sure the name, bank account number, or mobile wallet ID you entered are correct. If they’re not, please contact us for support.
Remind your recipient to look for a payment from Ria
- Payments are delivered by RIA Financial Services or one of our partners – the sender’s name won’t show.
Confirm the amount
- We always send the exact amount you ask us to. However, in rare cases, the recipient’s bank or an intermediary may deduct a fee before the money is credited. Unfortunately, they don’t inform us in advance when this happens.
Share a payment confirmation
If your recipient still can’t find the transfer, ask us for a payment confirmation (a receipt showing we sent the money). You can share this with your recipient, and their bank can use it to trace the payment.
- If you’re the recipient, please ask the sender to ask us for the confirmation and forward it to you.
