We understand that plans change, and you might need to update details on a transfer you’ve already sent. As long as your order hasn't been paid out, you can change the first or last name of your recipient in the app or online in your account.
How to change the recipient’s name in the app or online
- Choose the transfer you want to modify from the Home screen in the app, or the Activity tab on web.
- On the Transfer details screen, click Modify online or Modify recipient name in the Ria app.
- Enter the recipient's name exactly as shown on their identity document.
- Click Save.
If you paid in person
- Contact our Customer Care team or go to a Ria location near you
- Provide your recipient's name as exactly shown on their identity document
If you made your transfer in person and no longer have your receipt or transfer details, you'll need to visit a Ria location in person to update the recipient's name.
Change other details (amount, location, method)
If you need to change other transfer details, such as the payout location, payout method, or payment amount, please cancel the current transfer and rebook it with the correct information.
