You can add money to your Ria Wallet by depositing cash at a participating bank’s cash deposit machine (CDM) in Malaysia.
Follow the steps below to complete your top-up.
1. Get your Ria bank account details
- Open your Ria Wallet app.
- Go to Deposit.
- Select Pay at cash deposit machine (CDM).
- The app will ask you to choose a bank. Your choice determines which Ria bank account details you will use for the deposit.
2. Select a bank
Choose one of the available banks in the app. The bank account number and other details will appear on your screen.
3. Deposit cash at a CDM
Visit a cash deposit machine for any of the following banks:
- AmBank
- CIMB Bank
- Hong Leong Bank
- Maybank
- Public Bank
- RHB Bank
Deposit the amount you want to add to your wallet into the bank account shown in your app.
4. Enter the deposited amount in the app
After completing your CDM transaction, check your receipt and enter the exact amount in the Amount field in the Ria Wallet app.
Enter the amount as a whole number only (no decimals, symbols, or negative numbers).
5. Upload your receipt via WhatsApp
- Tap Upload receipt on WhatsApp.

You will be redirected to WhatsApp with a
pre-filled message that includes:
- The bank name
- The deposit amount
- A unique Ria reference number
6. Send your receipt for verification
- Check that all details in the pre-filled WhatsApp message are correct.
- Upload a clear photo of your CDM transaction receipt.
- You’ll receive a push notification confirming that your top-up is being verified.
7. Deposit confirmation
Our team will manually verify your deposit within one business day.
- You'll receive a confirmation push notification once your money is available in your Wallet.
- You can also view your receipt and check the status of your deposit at any time in the Transaction History section.
