Ria eWallet's new Airtime feature allows you to buy data, call or SMS bundles for a mobile phone anywhere in the world, and pay for it with your eWallet balance.
The Ria eWallet is available to customers in Malaysia.
How do I buy Airtime top-ups or bundle plans in my eWallet?
- Tap Airtime on the home screen in your Ria eWallet app
- Choose the country and mobile phone number you'd like to buy airtime for
- Select your mobile phone provider
- On the next screen, click on either the Airtime tab or Bundles tab at the top of the page
- If you choose Airtime, select your top-up amount and click continue
- If you chose Bundles, tap the bundle plan you want to buy
- Check your purchase summary and click Pay
- Enter your eWallet passcode to confirm payment
- That's it! You'll receive a push notification when the top-up is applied to the phone
Frequently asked questions about the eWallet Airtime feature
How long will it take for the top-up to be applied to the phone?
You should receive the top-up on the mobile within minutes of buying it in your eWallet.
How will I know when the credit is available to use?
If you have enabled push notifications in the settings on your Ria eWallet, you'll receive a push notification once the credit has been applied to the phone.
You'll see your Airtime top-up and bundle plan purchases in the Transactions section on your Ria eWallet home screen.
Which mobile phone providers can I buy credit for?
Click Airtime in your eWallet and enter the country and mobile number to see the full list of mobile phone providers that you can buy credit for from your eWallet.
Can I buy credit for a mobile number in a different country?
Yes you can. You can buy credit for mobiles in over 10 countries and with all major mobile operators through DT One’s extensive network
How do I pay for Airtime and bundles?
You can make payment in MYR from your Ria eWallet. Add money to your eWallet at a Ria store or with Jompay.
Is there a fee for buying Airtime top-up or bundle plans in the eWallet?
No, there's not a fee.
Can I top-up multiple numbers at once?
Not at the moment; you'll need to buy your Airtime or bundle for each mobile number one at a time.
Can I cancel a top-up I've bought?
No, you can't. Once you've bought airtime or a bundle plan it will normally be credited instantly, and can't be canceled.
What happens if I enter the wrong mobile number?
We can't cancel or refund airtime and bundle purchases, so please enter the mobile phone number carefully and check it before buying a top-up in your eWallet.
If you do make a mistake, please email the Ria Money Transfer Digital Customer Support team at mydigital@riamoneytransfer.com as soon as possible who will try to help you, although we can't guarantee reversals or refunds.
My top-up wasn't successful, what should I do?
If your top-up wasn't successful, your eWallet will automaticaly be refunded. Check that:
- You entered the mobile number correctly, and chose the right mobile phone provider
- You have enough money to pay for the top-up in your eWallet. You can add money at a Ria store or with Jompay.
