Sending money with Ria on WhatsApp is simple. Follow the steps below to create and complete your transfer.
1. Start in WhatsApp
Open Ria’s official WhatsApp chat and select Send Money to begin.

2. Enter the amount
Type the amount you want to send (between $1 and $999.99 a day).
You’ll immediately see how much your recipient will receive in their local currency.
3. Add your recipient
Enter your recipient’s full name.
4. Choose the delivery method
Select how your recipient will receive the money:
Bank deposit – money is sent directly to their bank account
Cash pickup – choose the city and then select a pickup location
Mobile wallet – money is sent directly to their wallet
5. Review your transfer
Before paying, you’ll see a summary that includes:
Send amount
Recipient details
Delivery method
Fees and total amount
If everything looks correct, select Yes, looks good.
If you need to make changes, choose Make changes to edit the transfer details.
6. Pay securely on the Ria website
After selecting Yes, looks good, you’ll be redirected to a secure payment page on Ria’s website to complete your transfer.
New users: Create your profile and confirm recipient details
Returning users: Enter the one-time passcode (OTP) sent to you
7. Add your payment method
Pay securely using your debit card.
If you’ve saved a card previously, simply enter the CVV to confirm the payment.
8. Transfer complete
Once the payment is confirmed, your transfer is sent. You'll receive your transfer receipt by email.
You’ll see a confirmation message and can return to WhatsApp to track the status of your transfer.

After creating a transfer, you can return to WhatsApp to:
Track your transfer
Send money to the same recipient again
Start a new transfer
Change language or get help
How to cancel a transfer in WhatsApp
You can request cancellation directly in the WhatsApp chat.
Type “cancel” in WhatsApp (in English or Spanish).
You’ll see a list of your last 9 transfers.
Select the transfer you want to cancel.
If the transfer is eligible, you’ll receive a cancellation confirmation.
If the transfer can't be cancelled, you’ll be guided to contact us for support.
