How do I collect the cash, step by step?
At any participating Euronet ATM in Spain:
- Select the "Ria Payout" option in the ATM welcome screen.
- Enter the PIN the sender shared with you.
- Wait a moment. We'll send you an SMS with a six-digit security code.
- Enter the code at the ATM.
- Take your cash and your receipt. Done!
Where can I find a Euronet ATM?
When your money is ready, we'll send you a message with a link to a map of nearby Euronet ATMs.
How long is the security code valid?
About 2 minutes from the moment we send it. If it expires before you enter it, don't worry — just enter your PIN again at the ATM and a fresh code will be sent to your phone automatically.
Tip: be at the ATM and ready before you enter your PIN, so you can type in the code as soon as it arrives.
I didn't receive the security code
Here's what to do:
- Wait a couple of minutes — messages can sometimes take a moment to arrive.
- Enter your PIN at the ATM again. This automatically sends a new code to your phone.
Please note there is no "resend code" button on the ATM — re-entering your PIN is the only way to get a new code. Also, there's a limit to how many codes can be sent, and requesting too many can lead to the order being cancelled, so take it easy.
What if I enter the code wrong?
You have up to 5 attempts. If all 5 fail, the transaction is automatically cancelled for security reasons and you'll need to contact Ria's customer support to sort it out.
What if I enter the PIN wrong?
No stress — there's no limit on PIN attempts. The ATM will show an error and let you try again. Just double-check the PIN with the person who sent you the money.
I lost the PIN / never got it
The PIN is only given to the sender, for security reasons. Ask them to share it with you again. If they've lost it too, they should contact Ria's customer support or the store where they placed the order.
What notes does the ATM give out?
Euronet ATMs dispense €20 and €50 notes only, up to 40 notes per transaction. That's why the amount sent must be a combination of these notes.
Is there a maximum amount?
Yes — €2,000 per transaction.
Will I get a receipt?
Yes, twice over! The ATM prints a paper receipt, and we also email you a receipt with the transaction reference, amount, date, time and ATM location. If the ATM's printer fails, don't worry — your money is fine and the email receipt is your proof of payment.
