Ria accepts documents such as bank statements, payslips, tax documents, loan agreements and proof of a sale, investment or inheritance. The exact list depends on the country you're sending from, so check the section for your country below.
Why do we ask for source of funds documents?
Source of funds means where the money for your transfer came from. To meet financial regulations, we may ask you for documents that show this. It helps keep your money safe and lets us meet our legal obligations.
Whether we ask depends on things like:
- How much you're sending.
- How often you send money.
- Your customer profile.
- Your overall transfer activity.
If we need documents from you, we'll contact you to tell you which ones and how to send them. Find out more in Why is my transfer under review?
