This article explains the reasons that a recipient might not be able to collect their transfer from a Ria location.
They're at the wrong location
Follow these steps to share a location with your recipient so that they head to the right place:
- In the Ria app, tap Locations or click the Locations tab on the Ria website
- Click Get directions
- In Google maps, click Menu in the top left-hand corner of the screen
- Select Share or embed map or Link to this map.
Copy and paste the link to share it with your recipient.
Your recipient doesn't have the PIN or their ID
Your recipient needs the cash pickup PIN and a piece of government-issued photo ID to collect their money transfer.
- Their ID must be in date and the name on the document must match the recipient name on the transfer exactly. Please follow the steps in this article if you need to make a change.
The transfer isn't ready for collection
If we're still processing your transfer - or it's on hold and we need some more information from you - your recipient won't be able to collect the money.
We recommend that you track your transfer before your recipient heads to the location so that you know it's ready for collection.
