Bulgaria is officially adopting the Euro as its national currency on January 1, 2026. This change will have a direct impact on how transfers to Bulgaria are processed.
What’s changing?
From January 1, 2026, all transfers to Bulgaria will be paid in Euro (EUR). As a result, transfers in Bulgarian Lev (BGN) will no longer be available.
