If you’re sending money from Austria or Germany, you can pay with Klarna. This article explains how Klarna works and how to use it for a transfer.

How Klarna works

Klarna is a payment service that lets you pay straight from your bank account.  When you fund a transfer, the app sends you to Klarna. Klarna then redirects you to your online bank to finish the payment.

In the Ria app, Klarna shows up as a payment option when you start a transfer from Austria or Germany.

Pay for a transfer with Klarna

Paying with Klarna is simple.

On the app:

1. Start a money transfer.
2. On the Payment method screen, tap Sofort (by Klarna).
3. Check your transfer details and tap Continue.
4. Choose your country and bank, then tap Next.
5. Enter your online banking details to complete the payment.
