What happened
Due to a technical issue in our app, some customers who paid with a credit card saw a debit card fee at checkout, but were charged the correct credit card fee when their payment was processed.
This means that the fee shown when you confirmed your transfer was lower than the fee you were charged. We’re sorry for the confusion this caused.
How we're fixing it
We’ve already identified affected customers and are reaching out by email.
We’re automatically refunding the difference. The refund goes back to the same card you used to pay.
We've also fixed the technical issue that caused the fee to show incorrectly.
What you can expect next
You don’t need to take any action.
We’ll email you if you were affected and will automatically process your refund.
Once processed, it typically takes 3 to 5 business days for the refund to appear in your account. In some cases, it can take up to 10 business days, depending on how your bank processes refunds.
